
According to the Warren Circuit Court Clerk’s Office, Alma Bonilla pleaded guilty to charges of Theft by Deception, Unauthorized Practice of Law, and Deceptive Business Practices.
In March of 2016, Bowling Green Police arrested Bonilla after an undercover officer discovered she was acting as an attorney without a license.
The same undercover officer met with Bonilla at her office on Russellville Road in Bowling Green paying her requested retainer fee of $1,000. Bonilla then said she would represent the undercover officer with any legal matter he might face.
She was sentenced to five years which was probated.
