A two vehicle accident in Harned claimed the life of a Hudson woman Monday night.
At approximately 8:20 p.m. EDST a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix, driven by 27 year-old of Hudson, was traveling North on KY 259 when she crossed the center line into the southbound lane striking a vehicle head on, driven by 18 year-old Shauna Lucas of Falls of Rough.
Shauna Lucas was transported to Breckenridge Memorial Hospital with multiple minor injuries and was later released. Dreama Woods was pronounced dead at the scene by the Breckenridge County Coroner’s Office. An autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday at the Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville.
The accident remains under investigation by the Kentucky State Police and toxicology results are pending.
