A fire caused minor damage to the Car Wash and Laundromat in Axtel Thursday afternoon.
The McDaniels Fire Department responded to the fire about 1:43 p.m. According to Firefighter Jerry Carwile, upon arrival, they found clothing burning in the parking lot. Fire was also found inside a wall of the building. The blaze was quickly extinguished.
The fire remains under investigation by the State Fire Marshall’s Office.
