Rescue workers found the body of a teenage boy in a pond on the outskirts of Radcliff Thursday evening.
He has been identified as 17 year-old Elijah Thornton, a student at North Hardin High School in Radcliff.
Officials said four teens were swimming during the rain storm Thursday evening in a pond off Centennial Road near its intersection with Blackjack Road. Just after 6 p.m., authorities were called when Thornton did not resurface.
Authorities say the shallow pond is roughly 10 feet at its deepest point.
