
A missing persons case in Munfordville has officially become a murder case, according to Kentucky State Police.
It started when Hart County authorities were contacted by 58-year-old Timothy Devore’s family, requesting a welfare check at his home at the Clayton Station Apartments.
Officers say they could not find Devore or his car at his home.
They did eventually find him dead in his car and sent his body to the Medcial Examiner’s Office in Louisville for an autopsy.
Through investigation, Kentucky State Police troopers identified 28-year-old Nicholas Wilson as a suspect in Devore’s murder and later arrested him, charging him with one count of murder.
The investigation continues by the Kentucky State Police.
