
Kentucky State Police say 38 year-old Angel Wallace of Bowling Green lost control of her car on northbound I-65 and overturned just south of Upton early Thursday afternoon.
When a Good Samaritan stopped to assist her, she stole their vehicle and fled the scene. Wallace then led Kentucky State Police units on a 32-mile chase through Hart and Barren Counties, before stopping at the Park City exit of I-65 after Kentucky State Police deployed stop sticks.
Wallace is in the Hart County Jail, charged with the following:
• Speeding 26 mph or more in a work zone
• Theft by Unlawful Taking under $10,000
• Receiving Stolen Property under $10,000
• Disregarding a stop sign
• Reckless Driving
• Fleeing or Evading Police 1st
• Wanton Endangerment 1st Police
• Wanton Endangerment 1st
• Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence
• License to be in Possession
• Criminal Mischief 1st degree
• Criminal Mischief 2nd degree
• Failure to Wear Seat Belt
• Failure to Notify DOT of Address Change
