Police say a toddler who was pulled from a pool shortly after being reported missing has died.
Louisville police spokeswoman Alicia Smiley said officers were called Saturday afternoon on a report of a missing 2-year-old girl. Smiley says the child was found after a short search floating in a pool at a nearby home.
First responders performed CPR until an ambulance arrived and took the girl to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police are investigating the death.
