Lt. Jeremy McQueary with Kentucky Fish and Wildlife has confirmed the identity an 18-year-old male who drowned Sunday in the Green River.
Officials found the body of Tariq Armour of Coxs Creek, Kentucky at 11:45 EDT Monday near where witnesses saw him go under.
Rescue workers said Armour was swimming in a cove Sunday, when witnesses say he went under and didn’t come back up.
