The Natcher Parkway Reconstruction project continues from I-65 to the Morgantown Road exit in Bowling Green. Crews are doing some major resurfacing along with some shoulder upgrades.
Traffic is down to one lane in each direction, and Transportation Cabinet Public Information Officer Wes Watt says, motorists need to be very cautious when getting on the Natcher. Watt says it is a yield condition where driver may have to stop on the ramp to get onto the parkway. Drivers must yield to the vehicles already on the parkway.
Watt says some drivers are not yielding, and that is causing hazardous driving conditions. He also says if you can’t avoid that area completely, be sure to leave yourself some extra time to get to your destination.
Watt says the project is due to be completed by the end of August.
