Kentucky State Police executed a search warrant Tuesday (7/25) at a property in Bardstown belonging to Brooks Houck’s grandmother, Anna Whitesides.
Houck is the former boyfriend of Crystal Rogers, a Bardstown mother of five who went missing in July of 2015. He is also believed to be the last person who saw Rogers alive and has been named as a suspect in the case by police.
Three Kentucky State Police detectives were at the property on Pulliam Avenue, according to Trooper Jeff Gregory.
Whitesides attorney, Jason Floyd, said the search warrant was specific and related to bullets, guns and reloading equipment.
Floyd said a total of five warrants have been served on the family’s properties since the investigation into Rogers’ death began.
This is the first by the Kentucky State Police, who are leading the investigation into the shooting death of Tommy Ballard, Crystal’s father, who died hunting in November of last year.
