A single vehicle crash on the Natcher Parkway resulted in the death of one woman.
Kentucky State Police responded to the William Natcher Parkway at the 20 mile marker to investigate a single vehicle injury collision.
Corey Millay of Morgantown was driving a 2005 Toyota traveling southbound when she exited the right shoulder of the roadway, striking an embankment.
Millay’s vehicle then reentered the roadway traveling across both lanes coming to final rest in the median of the Natcher Parkway
Corey Millay and a passenger, Billy Phelps, were both ejected from the vehicle.
Millay was pronounced dead by the Warren County Coroner’s Office. Phelps was transported to the Medical Center Hospital in Bowling Green for treatment, but was later transferred to Vanderbilt University Hospital where he is currently listed in critical condition.
Neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt.
The accident remains under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
