The Ekron City Commission tabled some agenda items during their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday (9/5).
Commissioner Corey Trent conducted the meeting in the absence of Mayor Gwynne Ison. The Commission tabled the purchase of bags of asphalt for the recently approved speed bumps. Commissioners approved to order more speed limit signs to placed around town. Bids are still being sought for the winterizing of plants at the city park. Amanda Davis asked the commission to purchase part of the alley located along 129 Reese Avenue. Commissioners tabled the issue to allow more information to be gathered. City leaders will be seeking mail bids to sell the city tractor in the upcoming weeks.
The Ekron City Commission is scheduled to meet next on Tuesday, October 3 at 6:30 pm at Ekron City Hall.
