The Brandenburg City Council met during a special called meeting Friday (9/15) afternoon.
The council presented the Yard of The Month Award to Vincent Smith of Lakeview Drive. Council members approved cashing in a certificate of deposit at a value of $118.019.22 to the general fund. The council heard and approved the first reading of the proposed tax rates for the 2017 real and personal property tax rates and the 2018 motor vehicle and watercraft tax rates.
The council will conduct the second reading of the tax ordinances during a special called meeting on Wednesday (9/20) at 5 pm at Brandenburg Ciity Hall.
