The Brandenburg City Council discussed and approved a bid to begin construction on a new water tower for the city water system during a special called meeting Thursday (10/19).
The council reviewed three separate bids and approved the lowest bid of $823,000 from Caldwell Tanks which will build the new tower and paint the city’s logo on the side of the water tank. The new water tower will built near the 800 block of Lawrence Street on the Northwest side of Brandenburg.
The city council also discussed and approved a resolution related to a federal transportation grant of $222,240 for sidewalks along Main Street in Brandenburg.
The Brandenburg City Council is scheduled to meet during their monthly meet on Monday, November 13 at 7 pm.
