Police in Grayson County are investigating a shooting that occurred Friday (11/10) afternoon.
Around 3:15 pm CST Friday, police received a report from Maple Drive from a female who said she shot a man twice, and that he fled the area in a Toyota Tacoma with a possible destination on Salt River Road. Unconfirmed reports indicate the man may have suffered self-inflicted stab wounds, and that he was traveling with a firearm.
Grayson County Sheriff Deputies and Leitchfield Police officers searched for the truck without success. Around 4:12 pm, police learned that the male victim had just left a Shaw Station Road residence driving to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in a Dodge pickup truck.
Police quickly arrived at the emergency room and located the male. The victim underwent treatment at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center. No other details are available as the investigation remains ongoing.
