The Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the stabbing death of a teenager.
According to Breckinridge County Sheriff Department, deputies and Breck Central EMS were called to a residence along Lee Miller Road in Madrid around 12:20 am Thursday (11/16) morning. Upon their arrival they found a 17 year-old female had been stabbed multiple times.
Upon further investigation, police arrested the victim’s 14 year-old step brother and charged him with murder. He was lodged in the Warren County Juvenile Detention Center in Bowling Green. The Hardinsburg and Irvington Police Departments along with McDaniels Fire & Rescue assisted the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Department at the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing.
