An Owensboro man is arrested after police say he stabbed another man on Wednesday (11/22) afternoon.
Owensboro Police responded to address on Triplett Street just before 1 pm and found one man in the rear parking lot of the business with several stab wounds. Police say the suspect had ran from the area.
Investigators said 33 year-old Jeffrey Young and 24 year-old Deonte Holland were arguing and began to fight. Holland suffered stab wounds to his neck, side, and back. Holland was taken to the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Young was arrested around 1 pm in the area of East 17th and Triplett Streets. He was charged with 1st degree assault and tampering with physical evidence and was lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center.
