Three Arrested After Radcliff Robbery

Three people, including a 17-year-old male, were arrested Saturday in connection to a Radcliff robbery that happened earlier in the day.

Mason Foster, 21, of Eliza­beth­­town, was booked in the Har­­­­­din Coun­ty De­­­tention Cen­­­­­­­ter on charges of first-degree robbery, possession of marijuana, second-degree unlawful tran­s­action with a minor and third-degree possession of a con­­trolled substance.

John Hall, 18, of Elizabeth­town, was arrested on charges of first-degree robbery and second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor.

According to a Radcliff Po­­lice Department citation, offi­cers responded to an ap­art­ment in the 100 block of Hon­eysuckle Court to investigate a reported home invasion robbery.

Three witnesses were present at the time of the robbery. According to the citation, the witnesses said when responding to a knock at the front door, a suspect wearing a black ski mask, armed with a handgun, forced his way into the apartment.

The suspect, who later was identified as Hall, was followed into the apartment by three others identified as Foster, Jordyn Shepherd and a 17-year-old male.

The citation said Hall held two of the witnesses at gunpoint, while Foster, the juvenile and Shepherd confronted the third inside his bedroom as he hid in a closet “fearing for his life.”

The citation said the third witness physically was assaulted and received moderate in­juries to his head but refused medical treatment. The witness said Shepherd and either Foster or the juvenile struck him in his head with a whiskey bottle, which they stole.

The citation said the four suspects also stole a wallet, keys to a vehicle, cash, narcotics, pills, marijuana and acid from the ap­art­ment.

Foster and the juvenile later were found by Kentucky State Police in Elizabethtown. The juvenile was operating a vehicle in which were two handguns he later admitted were his.

Also inside the vehicle were more bags of marijuana and pills, which were stolen from the apartment that were identified as clonazepam, the citation said.

Both Foster and the juvenile were interviewed regarding the incident and admitted to other involvement in the robbery.

The Elizabethtown Police Department also arrested Hall Saturday afternoon on a warrant. Hall is being held at the Hardin County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.

Shepherd remains at large as of Saturday night.
