A Radcliff teenager was arrested late Thursday night and charged with robbing a Dollar General store in the city.
Ricquan Madaris, 19, is charged with first-degree robbery — a Class B felony, punishable by 10 to 20 years in prison, if convicted.
Radcliff police believe Madaris entered the Dollar General on South Dixie Boulevard with a gun around 10:50 a.m. November 14.
According to an arrest warrant, a robber pointed a small semi-automatic handgun at the clerk and demanded she give him all the money in the cash drawer. When the employee began to scream, the person reportedly grabbed two packs of cigarettes and ran out of the store.
Police identified Madaris as the suspect when an identification card was found outside the store entrance. The store clerk identified the suspect as the person on the ID card. A store surveillance video captured the robbery and police also identified Madaris from the video, according to the warrant.
Madaris is being held in lieu of a $10,000 cash bond in the Hardin County Detention Center. He is scheduled to appear at 9 a.m. December 8 in Hardin District Court.
