A pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Highway 86 in Breckinridge ridge County Tuesday night (5/8) has succumbed to his injuries.
J.D. Earl Fulkerson 30 of Bardstown was struck by a 2014 KIA Rio, driven by 20 year-old Baylee M. Harrington of Irvington, shortly after 10:30 pm CDT Tuesday evening Highway 86, near the intersection of Rosetta Corners Road.
Fulkerson was airlifted from the scene to University of Louisville Hospital were he later died from his injuries. Initial reports indicate that Fulkerson walked onto the roadway and into the path of Harrington’s vehicle.
The accident remains under investigation by state police.
