A wreck on Happy Valley Road in Glasgow Tuesday evening killed one and injured two.
The Barren County Sheriff’s Office says Mark Detweiler of Munfordville told deputies he was traveling eastbound in his car when he lost control due to water pooling on the roadway.
The car traveled across the center line and struck a car driven by John Goad of Glasgow head on. Goad was pronounced dead at the scene while a passenger, Laura Goad also of Glasgow, was flown from the scene to the University of Louisville Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Detweiler was also flown to the University of Louisville for treatment of serious injuries he sustained in the accident.
