Emergency crews were called the scene of a fatal two vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 79 and Kentucky 428.
According to Kentucky State Police, the accident happened around 12 Noon Tuesday when a vehicle driven by 28 year-old Tanisha Hayes of Shepherdsville, pulled out from Highway 428 onto Highway 79 into the path of a vehicle driven by 61 year-old Charlotte Beyer of Guston.
Beyer was pronounced dead at the scene by the Meade County Coroner. Hayes was taken to University of Louisville Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The accident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police.
