A two-vehicle collision near the 120 mile marker on the Western Kentucky Parkway in Grayson County.
The preliminary investigation revealed, 56 year-old Jeffrey L. Davis of Hanover, Indiana was operating a Freightliner tractor and trailer and was pulling back onto the roadway after having stopped in the westbound emergency lane. A 2012 Chevrolet Equinox driven by 40 year-old Daniel Skipworth of Greenville struck the rear of Davis’ trailer.
Skipworth was flown to University of Louisville Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Kentre L. Horton (34) of Greenville, a passenger in Skipworth’s vehicle, was flown to University of Louisville Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The Western Kentucky Parkway was closed for approximately one hour. Kentucky State Police was assisted by the Grayson County Sheriff’s Department and EMS.
