A Morgantown woman has been arrested and charged with attempted murder after shooting a man in Ohio County.
According to the Ohio County Sheriff’s Departemnt, 45 year-old Micheal Miller arrived at a residence in the 1800 block of Highway 1118 near Horse Branch, around 1 pm Monday (2/4). Miller had a gunshot wound to his face. He was airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital, where is he listed in stable condition.
After in joint investigation with Kentucky state Police, 27 year-old Chasity Clopton was arrested and charged with attempted murder, assault, tampering with physical evidence, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
She is lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center.
