The Ekron City Commission received fund for interlocal projects in the city during their regular meeting Tuesday (4/2) evening.
Mayor Cory Trent welcomed Judge Executive Gerry Lynn and Fifth District Magistrate Steve Wardrip, who presented city leaders a check in the amount of $2,361.12 for joint effort projects between the city and county. In other business, commissioners approved a bid from J&A Mowing for to mow in the city during May through October.
Mayor Trent said that city clean up will take place on April 11. A dumpster will be placed on Willie Dowell Road. A city wide clean up will be held on Saturday April 27 beginning at 1 pm.
The next regular meeting of the Ekron City Commission is scheduled for Tuesday, May 7 at 6:30 in the Ekron City Hall.
