A Glasgow man was arrested on meth charges after a shoplifting incident at Big Lots Monday night.
The suspect fled the store on foot and was running toward Shalimar Apartments when officers from the Glasgow Police Department arrived at the store.
Officers said 21-year-old Chanse Ennis had a kitchen knife inside his front pocket along with a glass pipe and methamphetamine when he was apprehended.
Officers also recovered the stolen items and returned them to Big Lots.
Ennis lodged in the Barren County Detention Center and charged with shoplifting, fleeing or evading police, carrying a concealed weapon, and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
