Units from the McDaniels and Harned Fire Departments were called out to a report of working trailer fire early this morning.
The report came from 187 Cobbler’s Knob Lane just before 12:30 AM CT Wednesday (4/17) morning. According to McDaniels Fire Chief David Poole, the roof of the single wide mobile home had collapsed into the structure, which was fully involved as firemen arrived on scene. The resident, Ronnie Vincent, told firemen that he was cooking on the stove and went outside for a short time, returning to find flames in the kitchen area of the home. No injuries were reported.
Meade County RECC assisted the firemen at the scene.
