A two vehicle accident in McDaniels sent two people to the hospital Saturday morning.
The accident happened around 8:30 a.m. in the 11000 block of South Highway 259.
One patient was airlifted from the scene by Air Evac and another person was taken to Breckinridge Memorial Hospital by Breck Central EMS. Crews from the McDaniels and Harned Fire Departments assisted the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Department at the scene.
Meade County RECC worked to replace a utility pole and cleared downed wires which blocked the roadway. About 1100 RECC Customers were off line during the repairs.
