A line of thunderstorms brought high winds and heavy rain that brought down trees and power lines Sunday (6/30) evening.
The storms moved into the area prompting several warnings around 7 pm and moved across the area with wind gusts near 55 miles per hour. The winds are to blame for a tree that fell onto a house power lines which resulted in a fire between Hardinsburg and Cloverport. Several reports of downed trees were reported across Breckinridge in the Stephensport, Cloverport, and McQuady. Trees were also reported down in Grayson and Ohio counties.
Other reports came from the Garrett area of Meade County and power was reported out in Hancock and Perry counties.
