A pedestrian walking south in the northbound lane of Ky. 61 in LaRue County was killed late Thursday after being struck by multiple vehicles, according the LaRue County Sheriff’s Office.
David L. Butler, 57 of Sonora, reportedly was struck and knocked into the southbound lanes where additional vehicles hit him. Just before receiving a call about the fatal collision near Bailey Road south of Buffalo, dispatch reportedly had been alerted to a man jumping into traffic in the same area.
No charges have been filed and the accident remains under investigation by the LaRue County Sheriff’s Office.
