
Emergency crews in Meade County were called to a report of a two vehicle accident Monday (9/30) afternoon along Old Mill Road.
According to authorities, the accident happened around 4:50 pm in the 410 block on Kentucky 1638. Members of the Meade County and Muldraugh Fire Departments worked to extricate two of the occupants from the vehicles involved. Three people were airlifted from the scene to University of Louisville Hospital by Air Methods and Air Evac for their injuries while another person was taken to the hospital by Meade County EMS.
The roadway reopened around 6:30 pm. No other details have been made available as the accident remains under investigation by the Meade County Sheriff’s Department.
