With the increase in the number of cases of the coronavirus the tax filing deadline has been extended.
The federal government announced Friday they would be moving the tax deadline up to July 15.
Governor Andy Beshear also announced the state of Kentucky will be following suit with the federal government, and will also change the deadline to July 15, 2020.
