The Radcliff Police Department is seeking the public’s help after a man was found dead around 8 p.m. Thursday near an apartment complex on Illinois Road.
Radcliff Police Department Chief Jeff Cross said an unidentified white male knocked on several doors at an apartment complex Thursday night. When someone answered, the man stepped back and died. He was found on a sidewalk.
Cross said the man was bloodied on various parts of his body and likely had been stabbed. He said the man, believed to be in his mid-to-late 20s, didn’t have any identification on him.
Radcliff Police Department Detective Joe Gonzalez said the man had short hair and a goatee. He said the police department received a 911 call at 7:50 p.m. requesting help.
Cross said an autopsy was planned for Saturday.
Cross said police canvassed a field near the apartments Thursday night.
He said police also are searching for a possible suspect in the case.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Radcliff Police Department at 270-351-4477.
