
An ATM in Bowling Green was vandalized, in an attempt to take it in the early morning hours of Sunday, according to Bowling Green Police.
Police say at 6:14 a.m., officers responded to Franklin Bank and Trust located at 2305 Gary Farms Boulevard to a burglary alarm.
Police say when they arrived on scene they found that the ATM had been forcibly removed from the foundation in an attempt to take it. Police say during an immediate canvass, an unoccupied suspect vehicle was located on West Park Drive.
Through investigation it was determined that the vehicle had been taken from a nearby apartment complex.
