According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the end of Eden Road in report of a crash of an off road vehicle.
The caller said a side by side had rolled over in the creek, and two people were trapped in the water.
When the deputy arrived, one person had been able to escape from the rollover while a female was still trapped under several feet of water in the side by side. Police say a lengthy rescue was done with multiple fire departments on the scene. The female was transported to Medical Center ER, where she was pronounced dead.
Police say the driver, Mickinley Brown was also transported to Medical Center, where he is being evaluated for injuries. Police say Brown will be taken to the Warren County Regional Jail and charged with Manslaughter 2nd Degree and Operating Motor Vehicle under the influence of alcohol 2nd offense.
Kentucky State Police, Warren County Sheriff’s Department, Department of Fish and Wildlife, Richardsville, Barren River and Gott Fire Departments along with Emergency Management and EMS responded to the scene.
