Kentucky State Police say an Ohio woman was killed from injuries when the vehicle she was a passenger in crashed during a police pursuit early Sunday morning.
Gallatin County Sheriff’s deputies attempted to stop a vehicle for a speeding violation along U.S 42, but the car continued, later failing to negotiate a curve and struck a concrete wall.
Theresa Vittitow, 54 of Hamilton, Ohio, died from injuries suffered, while the driver and another passenger were not hurt.
Police say Vittitow was not restrained, but the two others were wearing seat belts. The incident remains under investigation.
