The body of Jacob Stover, the Prospect teenager who went kayaking from Cox Park in January and then disappeared, was pulled from the Ohio River near the Newburgh Dam.
Stover, 16, was pulled from the water more than 100 miles away, in Warrick County, Indiana on Monday. A coroner confirmed his identity Tuesday.
On January 10, Stover was seen on a WAVE 3 News Skytrack camera going down the Ohio River in circles. He was reported missing later that day.
Crews, volunteers and family members had spent weeks searching for Stover along the banks of the Ohio.
