Motorists may encounter delays as two sections of the Western Kentucky Parkway are being repaved.
Roadway rehabilitation projects from mile marker 86 to 91 in Ohio County and a second project from 107 to 111 between Leitchfield and Clarkson will require reducing traffic to one lane in each direction, the Transportation Cabinet’s District 4 office announced.
Speed limits are reduced from 70 to 55 through the construction zones. State officials also said lane width restrictions are in effect with no loads over 10 feet will permitted.
The projects, which have a total cost of more than $4.7 million, are expected to be complete by July 1, the cabinet’s statement said.
