Seventeen men have been arrested after Metropolitan Nashville Police Department Human Trafficking detectives say they responded to an online internet ad.
Metropolitan Nashville Police Department Human Trafficking detectives, with the assistance of the TBI and Homeland Security Investigations made the arrests during a two day operation. Police say the men agreed to pay for sex with an undercover officer who presented herself as being 16-years-old.
On Thursday, 35 year-old Barry Gardner of Nashville, 23 year-old Dwayne Small Jr. of Nashville, 24 year-old Jack Davenport of Nashville, 21 year-old Jaykumar Patel of Murfreesboro, 37 year-old Sourabh Verma of Franklin, 46 year-old Michael Corsaro of Hendersonville, 36 year-old Fredy Padilla of Nashville, 30 year-old Byombe Issa of Bowling Green, KY and 30 year-old Abraham Sanchez of Clarksville were arrested and charged with trafficking for a commercial sex act. Barry Gardner was also charged with cocaine and gun possession.
On Friday, 35 year-old Chhatra Bhujel of Nashville, 41 year-old Terrance Green of Smyrna, TN, 63 year-old Robert Ambrose of Bon Aqua, TN, 45 year-old Shontez Brown of Notasulga, AL, 26 year-old Joshua Haines of Dowelltown, TN, 49 year-old Rex Payton of Lebanon, TN, 35 year-old Eleazar Ramirez of Smyrna, TN and 38 year-old Adolpho Ramirez of Crossville, TN were arreste and charged with trafficking for a commercial sex act.
According to police, the men arrived to a Nashville Hotel in response to the online internet ad. Police say they were each arrested after entering a hotel room and exchanging money for sex.
