Emergency crews were called to the scene of a train derailment in Hardin County just 8 p.m. Tuesday.
According to Hardin County EMA Chief Bryce Shumate, a total of seven train cars derailed into a creek near Colesburg. Five of the cars are empty and two contain non-hazardous cargo.
No injuries were reported and there there were no evacuations.
It is not clear what caused the train to go off the tracks.
