Louisville Metro Police are investigating four shootings in the city on Saturday night.
A teenager was taken to the hospital Saturday night after a shooting in the 500 block of East Jacob Street.
Louisville Metro police officers responded to a shooting around 8:30 p.m. When officers arrived at the scene, they were unable to find a victim, according to LMPD spokesman Dwight Mitchell.
Not long after, officers received a call about a 17-year-old in the 700 block of South Jackson Street who had been shot. Officials found the teenager with a gunshot wound to the hand.
The investigation revealed the teenager was the victim from the East Jacob Street location. He was taken to the University of Louisville Hospital and is expected to survive.
The Louisville Metro Police Department confirmed a man that was shot in Okolona Saturday night has died.
LMPD spokesman Dwight Mitchell said the victim died at University of Louisville hospital on Sunday.
The call originally came in around 9:15 p.m. for a shooting in the 1100 block of Lavista Way.
Police say they were originally unable to locate the victim but later found a man shot in the 3500 block of Olive Road. They believe he is the victim from the original call.
Around 10:40 p.m., officers were called to Brownsboro Road at Reservoir Avenue. They found three men that had been shot.
The victims were all taken to University of Louisville hospital.
An investigation is underway after a woman was shot in the 200 block of La Fontenay Court Saturday night.
Louisville Metro police officers responded to the call around 11:45 p.m. and found a woman shot when they arrived at the scene. She was taken to the University of Louisville Hospital with non-serious injuries, according to LMPD spokesman Dwight Mitchell.
