A Bowling Green man died in a motorcycle crash on Monday afternoon along Russellville Road.
Edin Redzic, 43, was operating the motorcycle near Dishman Lane, according to a traffic collision report. Three other people were injured.
A Logan County Schools van attempted to make a left turn to go into the Wendy’s parking lot and crashed with the motorcycle, according to the report.
Greta L. Winchester, 50, of Russellville, was driving the van. She said she looked before going and did not see any cars coming from the opposite direction. As Winchester made a left turn, she saw the motorcycle “coming fast.”
Logan County Schools released a statement on the accident involving one of their vans, saying three students and a coach were involved in the accident.
School officials stated the students were released to their families, and the coach who was driving the van was treated for minor injuries.
Alcohol or drugs are not believed to be a factor in the crash.
