Governor Andy Beshear presented Hardin County Sheriff John Ward with a grant check for over $77,000.
This was made available by the Kentucky Department of Homeland Security.
These funds will be utilized to purchase new duty weapons, tasers and body armor. This new equipment will enhance deputy and public safety.
