Walgreens has settled an opioid case with Kentucky for $102 million to payout over 15 years.
Attorney General Daniel Cameron announced the deal on Wednesday. Walgreens was accused of unlawful businesses practices that made the opioid epidemic worse.
Walgreens didn’t admit to wrongdoing in the deal.
Moving forward, the pharmacy must monitor and report any suspicious activity about opioid prescriptions.
