A 41 year-old Hardin County man is facing child sexual exploitation offenses after being arrested by the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch.
Justin Lee Dailey was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect sharing images of child sexual exploitation online.
The investigation resulted in an interview in Elizabethtown on November 20, 2023. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to Kentucky State Police’s forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is ongoing.
Dailey is currently charged with two counts of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance under 12 years old (Class-C felonies punishable by five to ten years in prison) and one count of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance, 12 years old and over (Class-D felony punishable by one to five years in prison). Mr. Dailey was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center. He is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday (11/21).
