Electrical charging stations are coming to Interstate 75 in Kentucky.
Pilot Company and General Motors announced the initial phase of its EV charging networks that plans to cover the entire United States. Charging stations will be completed at the end of the year at Pilot and Flying J locations in Georgetown and Williamsburg.
According to a news release, Pilot charging experiences features canopies to protect vehicles against the elements, free Wi-Fi, chargers in well-lit central locations that are monitored by staff.
Pilot and GM plan to build 2,000 fast-chargers at 500 Pilot and Flying J locations.
