A project to replace a bridge on KY 70 Morgantown Road in Edmonson County is expected to create a long-term closure in early February.
The road will close at Bear Creek at mile point 4.2 on February 5.
The closure is expected to last 90 days.
A signed detour using KY 187, KY 238 and KY 259 will be in place.
Motorists should allow extra travel as the detour will add distance to the commute.
The closure is necessary so the bridge over Bear Creek can be replaced.
