
A juvenile was charged with terroristic threatening after making an alleged threat toward a Kentucky high school.
Kentucky State Police were notified Wednesday by the FBI that a threat was made toward East Carter High School. They were able to identify the juvenile, who admitted to making the threat through social media. They were arrested and taken to the Boyd County Juvenile Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police said they were later taken to the Breathitt County Juvenile Detention Center.
Measures have been implemented to ensure the safety of students and staff, including increased police presence.
