The Louisville Metro Police Department has arrested a Louisville man after a four-year-old died in a shooting ruled an “accident” in the Chickasaw neighborhood.
On January 13, police responded to the 800 block of South 37th Street around 3:50 p.m. on a report of a shooting involving a four-year-old. The child was taken to Norton Children’s Hospital where they later died from their injuries.
Louisville Metro Police Department conducted a death investigation and arrested 26-year-old Zacari Amacher on Friday under a district court warrant, according to officials.
Amacher is charged with one count of reckless homicide.
