One person is dead following a logging incident Monday morning in Barren County.
Barren County Coroner Tim Gibson said a 38-year-old Hispanic male was killed after a cut tree fell on him.
The man was not immediately identified, pending the final notification of kin.
Gibson said the incident happened just after 8 a.m. along Milburn Taylor Road, which connects Highway 249 (Roseville Road) and Highway 87 (Austin Tracy Road).
The man’s body was taken to Louisville for an autopsy.
Others were in the area clearing trees, but no other injuries or fatalities were reported.
